Thing to remember is that its only £109 if you want to get the most expensive founder pack.
If you want the standard founder pack, thats around £35 or something, which is comparable to a normal game release.
Or if you dont want a founder pack at all, then wait for release and play for free, or just pay the monthly sub (if you want patron status).
Unless your desperate there's really no need to fork out anything, it will be free to play on release. It's a decent MMo, it's not the best nor the worst and it has a lot going for it. There was a lot of chatter about it bombing on release in Korea however it was more down to bad management of the servers and people just leaving for other games.
If you really really really want to buy the Archeum pack find someone in the US who can gift it you via steam, the saving will be substantial

I am enjoying the beta period but having a 6 month old and working I just don't get the time to level or do much.
I was planning on using a VPN and using the ArchAge site and then using my cousins address as she lives in Boston

Just looking for a noob-friendly group if I'm honest.. Not one that powerlevels as soon as the game comes out just to start raiding etc etc.

Typical, I'm working 11hrs a day between 14 -> 18 !

On the plus side...that means its been 2 weeks in between each closed beta event. A little while ago they said there were going to be 4 Closed Beta events and then an open beta and then release.
Soo....if we extrapolate those 2 week gaps, it would mean that the 4th Closed Beta event would run from the 28th August to 1st Sept, then another 2 week gap til the open beta, which would run from 11th Sept to 15th Sept...then perhaps the headstart and release 2 weeks after that on the last week of September?
