Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro question

Hi all, just a quick question.

This may seem a stupid question but I need to ask it anyway.

I bought this fan as an upgrade to the stock cooler for my E6600 just over a year ago.

Now it seems to have developed a problem, the fan at startup sometimes doesn't start and I only know about it when my Core Temp app starts climbing.

Opening up the case and giving the fan a few pushes gets it working again and works perfectly reducing temps down to my systems normal.

I plugged in the stock fan and it worked first time with no problems so I'm assuming it is indeed the fan that has gone wrong but I just wanted to find out if anyone else has come accross this in the past and know if it could be anything else?

The box it came with states a 6 year guarentee and like I mentioned before I've only had it just over a year.

So is the fan knackered or could it be fixed or possibly something else might be wrong?

sounds faulty - if not dusted up

I'd contact them and see if they can send you a new fan - it separates easily - and is nice and light
