Hi.
How does everyone here view the situation at Barca at the moment?
They're not doing too bad, but with critisism coming from everywhere, players unhappy, lack of training, ect; it looks a bit dodgy.

This is what ive heard upto now:
-Rijkard not getting on with some of the bigger players in the team.
-Xavi not happy because he's not getting played.
-Ronny not happy because his contract hasnt been renewed, a year after being promiced, and thus, has aparentely agreed terms with Milan, and is waiting for the teams to sort out the rest of it.
-Lack of decent forwards, with both Eidur & Saviola being very inconsistant.
-Messed up training schedule.
-Predictable play.
-Accusations of 'no more hunger' from the team to win anymore.
-Rijkard needing to be replaced with someone who can take the team in a new direction.

I dont personally see where the critisisms are coming from tbh, their still in the title race, still in the cup, and still in the CL.

Whats all your opinions?
Are they in crysis? Will Ronny goto Milan? Will Xavi goto ManU? Will Messi goto Inter? Eto'o off as well?

I forget his name but apparently the assistant manager from last year was the real brains of the operaton and a lot of people expected them to be weaker this season following his departure.

I heard that as well. He went to manage Ajax didnt he? or PSV. One of the two IIRC.

I dont personally see any great crysis at the moment but there does seem to be a lack of hunger from the players who need a kick up the rectum from Rijkard

I watched revistia la liga last night and Guillem was saying that a lot of people around ronny have been saying for a while that milan have been in contact and if they come in for a big money move he'll be off as he feels its time for him to move on.

Maybe a bit OT, but its spelt crisis ;)
Its the game that is coming out in a year or so that spelt with a "y" :p

Back on topic now, I haven't heard of them having many problems but I guess it will be interesting to watch out for.

As good a manager Rijkaard is, i'd prefer to have Ronny over Rijkaard. :p
But then again, i dont think Ronny+Kaka would work. :(

Anyway, back to topic:
I would not be suprised to see the current Barca team dismantled over the next season or two, completely overhalled. With the money they'd get for their big stars alone, like Ronny & Xavi, they could feasibly rebuild the team. The key for Barca if they do that though, is keeping their young talent, like Messi & Iniesta.

The only Spanish player i'd like to see at United is Torres, the rest can go to Liverpool.

Although if they offered us Xavi in a straight swap for Silvestre i wouldn't say no.

I'd rather have Villa. I thought Torres had a good World Cup but I'm not that impressed with his overall goal scoring record and I certainly don't think he's worth much more than a player like Darren Bent.

Regarding the question, they're still in the Champions League, they're second in the league and they're missing their main source of goals. I think most clubs would love to be in their position and it's probably more to do with the media **** stirring than any thing else.

Difference between Torres and Villa is Torres has a bit more physical presence about him so I think he could handle being bullied by defenders. I think in terms of pure goalscoring Villa probably edges it but overall Torres is the better player. If Villa ever came to the premiership it wouldn't surprise me to see him pull a Forlan/Shevchenko.

I'd pay double the ticket price to see Torres and Ronaldo in the same team.

you people have been taking your pc games too seriously, its CRISIS not CRYSIS, :) something that was just annoying me whilst reading this thread.

Very interesting, never knew barca had so many problems, lets hope these problems continue so that liverpool can stuff them on their way to winning the cup again :D

I really doubt Ronny would go to AC Milan. AC Arn't a big team any more these days, their side is too old to compete and radically need an overhaul.

Ive always thought Xavi to be the best player at Barce, rate him so highly its untrue. They seem a worse team when he isnt playing.
Eto'o will be back within a few weeks maybe even in time for the clash with the mighty reds. its hardly a crisis though lets be honest.

Careful. ;) :p :D
Only the backline.
The midfield and strikers are still young.
