Are 'Lifeskills' still taught in secondary schools today?

I guess I can see what you mean. If you don't put in the effort to learn to read an write though, whether in school or not, you really should basically. How can anyone hold their head high when they can't do those things at age 16, and I'm referring exclusively to people who don't have dyslexia etc.
