its been going on for a while, all GPU prices have gone up and any decent GPUs have been hard to get hold of for a while. Anything worth doing crypto on is quickly gone until this boom dies down and so on and so on. Worst time to build a gaming PC for now

isn't hindsight a great thing? I almost pushed the button on a 2070S at £420 last summer as stop-gap until 3080 arrived... is gpu depreciation a thing of the past?
