Are you pleasantly suprised by how stupid people are

I have a group and my group are a bit slow. After a while I just decided that I would do all the work myself and not involve any of them. It may be harsh but im not getting poor grades when I can get top marks by doing it myself. At first it was annoying but when I think about it it just means I will have an easier time getting a job.

You have to realise people may not be on your level, either way give them a task to do. Teach them, don't just sit and do all the work. Maybe they're a bit shy and don't want to talk much.

If you're having trouble now, you'll have trouble later in life with your work mates.

I find group that aren't as smart as me easier to work with - it's your responsibility to work with them, bring them up to your level whilst working together on the work.

Group with a smarter person who have the same views are as good.

Group with a smart person but too snobby to work together leads to failure, both socially and academically.

I once did a PHP project for comp sci with a bunch of people who knew pretty much nothing about programming. I tried to delegate the work out, and then keep track of things, and they kept telling me they were on track...

They weren't. I had to pull an all nighter to finish it. Rubbish.

If you want to do something right you should always do it yourself. I feel your pain.
