According to Wikipedia the average man in the UK is 5'9 and 5.3 ish for a woman, so your mum is a little taller than the norm. How tall is your dad?

My Dad is 6'1 and my brother is 6'2.

Probably just a bad combination of poor genetics, bright side, you might get lucky on the lottery some day if karma exists and balances things.
My mum is 5'3, I am 5'11.
Most guys are taller than their mum, in fact most children are, as a nation we are growing and are taller.
Were you premature and very small as a child per chance?
