Army of Two delayed until 2008

Was really looking forward to this game. Hopefully the delay will mean that they can polish it off a bit more

I'm kind of glad to be honest, way too many games coming out in the next 3 months and I wont have time to play them all properly. I'm even pushing back Assasins Creed and Mass Effect in favour of Kane & Lynch simply because they will take a whole lot longer to play through properly. Where as Kane & Lynch is pretty straight forward from what I've seen.

Got quite a few PC games to have a bash at too at some point, but I just simply dont have the time to play them without rushing them.

I thought I would miss Brothers in Arms, Splinter cell conviction, now Army of Two and of course the big one, GTA IV but to be honest theres so much coming out on the 360 I cant imagine me having time for allof them - or the funds!

Frankly this is a good marketing move by EA.

How would it compete with Halo3/cod4 directly and all the other great games coming out over the next month/ 6 weeks?

Push it back till the new year and come in during a down turn in releases. While I like the Idea of this game some of the ingame shoots have looked abit disapointing (hovercraft springs to mind) so abit more time to add some shine cant hurt either.

Of course this is as long as they dont release it the same week as GTA4 or something daft.

this could be one of the first times im happy a game has been delayed. as has been said, far too much quality being released at the minute i just wont have time to play everything!

Good stuff. Been kinda interested in this, but what with everything else being about at the moment it would most definitely get lost in the noise.

I've never said this before in my lifetime, but 'Thank God for that!'

It's a game I've been desperate for since it was announced and they released the first videos of. It looks absolutely stunning and could be brilliant. It's a definite much buy, but so are a lot of other games on the Xbox360 over the next 2 or so months, so this is pretty much the best news I could have hoped for.

Now just to raise money for PES2008, Kane & Lynch, Mass Effect, Assassins Creed, Call of Duty 4, Smackdown vs Raw 2008, Tomb Raider Anniversary, Guitar Hero 3, The Orange Box and Ratchet & Clank.
