Do you find people take you much more seriously about matters that even in your younger days your opinion would've been the same and carried a lot of weight and make a lot of sense even though you were 'a baby' as they put it? I find people actually take my advice and opinion on matters, when say 2-3yrs ago telling them the same thing would not have had the same result (them following it). Why does age matter so much?

Age matters so much because it is ment to be maturity. Stages that people go through to grow up as it's known as. These days some younger people are more mature than older people but I guess thats always been the case because of how people are bought up.

Experience and wisdom.

Generally:

Young people study something and have a general idea of what they're talking about.

Older people have actually been involved in it and do know what they're talking about.

age = experience.

depending on life experience each to there own each person has had individual life experience and has a different opinion as there environmental up brining is each different and therefore leads to different effects, yes some times more than others it is age + experience more than none its people acting older yet still a child....ironic when your a kid and you swear or do something yet when your older more "adults" still do the same do people ever grow up lol

My experience is that nobody listens to anyone's advice, no matter what their age, unless it agrees with what they had already decided.

As a consultant in my early 30's I do face this discrimination from older people but I find if you carry your words with conviction, they're heard loud and clear. Believe in yourself and it shines through quite brightly.

I have no idea what you're talking about...

Give some examples of what your opinions have been on...
