Asking a girl for her mates number?

Know a nice girl who likes me a lot etc...

Nothing has ever happened between us, and she is a nice girl, but she came into my work yesterday with her mate.

Her mate looks exactly like the type that i go for, and she kept smiling at me and there was some instant flirting.

Question is, how do i get hold of her mate's number without hurting her or is it not possible as i see it.

Anyway i try, the girl who likes me will be hurt won't she.

I even joked about on the phone, saying i wanted them both, and they both didn't have a problem with that
