asking questions once job offered

was at a job interview recently but i forgot to ask some questions
has anyone been offered a job but asked more questions about the conditions etc?
i guess you're in your rights to do that,
want to make sure it's the right move so...

You should ask questions and don't be afraid to turn the job down.

Off course ask whatever questions you want whenever you want. Unless you are unemployed and need any job right now, there is no harm in continuing your search if the answers are not satisfactory.

Perfectly normal, just take care to work out in advance what extra detail you want and be as clear as possible.

yeah it was around travel, its 'flexible as required to meet needs'
and an on-call rota, so wondering about when that would be etc
i know i pressure myself about taking it as i'm getting on a bit and feel my job opportunities narrowing!
i rarely get interviews but i have only applied sporadically over the past few years
wish i'd never found that glassdoor site too haha, doesn't paint a pretty picture of the place, well it's 50/50 in the reviews, good and bad
of course they may make it easy for me and not offer it

Usual 'user reviews' caveat applies....people that are happy don't usually bother to write reviews.
