Hi all, I thought i'd start a new thread on this board.

Basically, i'd love to get my hands on one of these here in the UK, however for the life of me it doesn't seem possible!

Do any of you have them? How has it been? Got any benchmark results? If you've got one - where'd you buy it?

Thought it deserves a new thread as searched and didn't find anything. I think its great what ASROCK are doing - bringing the newest life to their great value boards.

As for me, as I said, i've not had any luck finding a UK supplier - i've searched high and low and although they retail in america for about $30-40, shipping over here to the UK would be about $80 which is crazy. I think i might ask my sister to bring one back from the states (she's over there now!)

**UPDATE** I've found that its on a site for £25 + £7.28 shipping for the 7-12 day service. I think this is reasonable and is the best i've found yet.

If you are referring to the "no advertising of competitors" thingy, i just presumed that being as overclockers.co.uk don't sell this product, it wouldn't be a problem. Surely we're allowed to discuss where to get products that OCUK don't sell? If i'm wrong, then I appologise! :-)
 
That would be logical but i believe that linking to any site that sells hardware is not allowed as its a competitor, sadly.

No need to apologise, just thought i would save the dons the job of editing it out for you. You do need to edit it out tho.

The reason you're struggling to get that board in the UK is probably because its quite new.
 
Because I cannot afford a PCI-e graphics card, and therefore I will be forced to stick with my AGP - yet i'd really like to have the most current technology.

My sister is in the states at the moment and has ordered me one of these though :-) Should be bringing it back in 10 days :P if i decide against the upgrade i'll just sell it!
