Wasn't sure where to post, so many options and its a bit of cpu, gpu and motherboard but stick it in CPU I guess. I only realised this tonight when browsing around I saw a beta bios with re-bar support for my x399 Taichi.

Flashed the bios and enabled rebar:

in windows rebar enabled 1950x/6800xt:

Thank you ASRock. Still some life in my little 1st gen yet.

Holly crap....

Now all we need is for AMD to make this a part of AGESA for Zen 1 and 2 and for Nvidia to allow re-size bar support on Turing and maybe Pascal, i think AMD will allow motherboard vendors to include support for older Ryzen but its not a part of the AGESA code and Nvidia limiting re-size bar to Ampere only is also purely by choice.

They seem to have rolled it for every HEDT board. Not complaining at all. Havent tested performance at all but given its a feature I thought I wouldn't get to see it isnt bad at all.

I sent it to somebody yesterday and he now has re-bar working on x399 and a Vega 64 :) so it's actually broader than just 6000 series as well. @vanpeebles
