Asrock Dual-SATA2 AGP mode concerns

I was looking on the forum at www.ocworkbench.com, where someone posted about the AGP mode being reported as 2x by the OS, after enabling coolbits and looking in the 'AGP settings' tab on the Nvidia control panel.

Had a look at my setup and sure enough, its reporting 2x for OS, despite recognising GPU/Chipset/Optimal all report 8x!

Just tried re-installing the 2.30 AGP driver followed by Forceware 83.40 and it still reported the same situation.

Any ideas?

dont worry about it, it says the same on my nf7 v2.
2x for os and 8x for all the others.

Lol you did the same as me last night after seeing that thread, in the end it runs the games I want it to run fine.

Yeah run some benchmarks - if you really are at 2X AGP then you'll get a rather poor result!
