Asrock Z77 Owners Club

Ahh cool,

Although don't use the AXTU lol prefer the bios tbh

my overclock settings are as follows
100x45
Vcore: 1.275v
pretty much everything else is on Auto
LLC: Level 1
Ram Vcore: 1.5v
It's IBT Stable with 20 runs nailed, Max temps never go over 65c even in the current heatwave.

Waiting for a new fitting kit for my Apogee GTZ till i really push the chip.

Finally tweaked my settings so here goes.

Multiplier 45 x 100
Vcore FIXED 1.25
LLC Level 2
Ram Samsung green @ 2000mhz @ 1.45
All other settings on auto

You will find different temps with different software but mine doesnt go past 75c on average.

Still gonna tweak further so i will report back.

You can count me in to :)

I have the ASRock Z77 Extreme4 running a 2600K @ a bomb proof 4.5GHz though the CPU is more than happy to go to 5.3GHz (former board was a P67 Sabertooth)

I prefer UEFI overclocking also and will post the details up some time soon.

I've the extreme6 with a 2500K @ 4.6Ghz. I can't remember the vcore, but its around 1.28v and maxes around 60C on air.

gonna go back to 4.8Ghz when I can be arsed.

I've got this board aswell (extreme4) with a 3570k :D Absolutely loving it. I'm just going to OC mine to 4.2ghz with everything on auto. Will this pump unnecessary amount of voltage through the system ? I thought auto was on stock volts :S

I'm waiting on my extreme4 arriving. I should be up and running with a 3570k sometime this week. I don't think I've had an asrock board before and certainly not a board with these "funny" dimensions. It shall be interesting.

My board arrived today and I'm just waiting on the cooler. Does anyone with an extreme4 have a handy hint about supporting the outer edge when fitting the 24pin power? Of course I could just put a hand under it, but I was ideally looking for something that gave me two free hands.

Sure Im in. My day to day clock on my 3770k:

Clock speed: 4.5Ghz
LLC: level 1
Vcore: 1.25V
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz (XMP Profile)
Everything else left well alone (did try tweaking PLL to no success)

My IB chip is probably the hottest one around considering the cooling I use should handle it fine. Currently if I prime it comes just on the 100 mark couple of times had my PC restart/BSOD because I hit 105C.
