Asrock Z77 Owners Club

Does anyone else with the Z77 Pro4 board get this error on login to windows when using the HD4000 graphics together with a dedicated graphics card using Virtual MVP?

Kdbsync.exe has stopped working.

I cant seem to get rid of this error,Virtual MVP works though seen a boost in BF3.

had the same issue when i first got the board wouldnt update via bios i think it was fixed in version 1.40 or slighty earlyer i cant mind but it works fine now and yep lastest is 1.80 theres a few changes worth checking out the asrock fourm as i cant remember what they are

I was on 1.60 trying to update to 1.70 apparently 1.80 isn't out for Extreme6 quite yet :)

are you using the MVP off asrocks website ? if not try it as the Normal MVP software from there site doesn't work

yeah u can do it that way theres a windows installer for it and a dos 1

ok,i build computer last night,my bios is 1.20,shall i install windows and all drivers first, and later update bios to 1.80(any problems with that update?)or update first to 1.80 and later install windows and drivers?
when i turn on computer there isn't beep sound,in my old comp. when you turn on comp there always was that beep sound.
is there everything allright with my z77extreme4 or i haven't connected something(speaker)??

doesnt matter what way you do it windows update first then bios or bios update then windows, dosen't matter

What I do find annoying about my Asrock Z77 Extreme 6 board is having updated the bios twice to 1.70 and now 1.80, when the system restarts my overclock has disappeared as well as the saved profile forcing me to input all the figures again!!!

Apart from this, I think this board is brilliant I am well pleased with its performance

Nearly got all my bits n bobs together, got the Extreme 4,IB 3570k, arctic cooler pro rev2, 8Gb of hyperX, coolermaster praetorian case, gonna use existing hard drives and 5770 graphics card until i can get the money together n get either a 6850 or gtx 460.

Is the motherboard stable/good quality? The P68 Extreme6 I have never felt.... as solid as previous ASUS/ABit/Gigabyte/DFI/EVGA motherboards I've had in the past. Nothing I can put my finger on specifically.

I personally like the board and the reviews are favourable, great price and feature rich

The negatives in my opinion

Not a full size atx board and for novice overclockers no bundled auto overclocking software
