Hey guys,
I applied for a new customer advisor position in the new flagship store for our company. I also applied for the team leader job.
On Wednesday I have to go for a full assessment day. To potentially be the team leader
When I applied I was sure I would get the advisor position, and I knew I could do the team leader position, but now I'm a little nervous as I have to do a presentation on why I'm the best person for the job. It's only for 5 minutes but knowing I can do the job and convincing HR that I can are too different things.
Clearly they were impressed by my CV and cover letter (probably more so the letter imo), but I don't want to just reiterate what they've already read.
Also, my company being how they are they say it can be any format (video, slideshow, music, poetry etc)
Apparently it's fairly standard for a team leader to need to do this as part of the process but I haven't had to do it before. I suppose I'm just looking for tips or advice on how to come across well.
Anything to quell the nerves
