I have had an Asus 1005PE for the past week or so (German Keyboard) I am wondering what the saving would be if a SSD was used instead of the 250GB HD

This is already showing an appreciable saving compared to the N280 based netbooks (1005HA) using Windows 7 with 2GB of Ram. How do the cheaper SSD's stack up?
I am thinking of changing to 64bit though obviously not Windows 7 basic - I wonder what the downside would be?
