is it a good motherboard and does it have hypertransport whatever that is or should i get a abit mob?

Used this mobo on my current system and everything seems to be very stable. I found the connectors to be well placed and easy to access as well.
Not explored anything else besides getting it up and running and stable, so I cant really help beyond that...

Yep, cables included are 2x IDE, 1x Floppy, 4x SATA iirc
Obviously backplate, drivers and manual too.
EDIT: Just checked the manual and there are HyperTransport multipliers (1x - 5x), loads of Vcore settings and it supports cool n quiet (amongst quite a few others).
If you want more detailed tech info you might be best downloading the PDF manual from Asus.
