turned the computer of as normal went to reboot it turned on but refused to post what i did notice the motherboard green power light is just flashing any help thanks

it wont even turn on now just the green power light on the mobo just flashes

Have you done anything to pc lately? overclocked? added usb ports for example? double check all cables etc/for one guy it was because he put it in the wrong way.

Make sure the power button connector is plugged in securely.

Try a barebones setup... One stick of RAM in slot b1... no cd drives, hdd connected, no usb or firewire, and try to POST..You may also try and resetting the CMOS as well.
Found a good asus forum here,which i`m having a look at just now same sort of issues.

I went through 2 of these mobo's turned out it was the skystar2 card that it didnt like, something about it taking too much current from the PCI slot and killing the mobo. Got a skystar2?
