Asus A8N32 and Lian Li V1000 plus - bash?

I have the Asus A8n32 mbrd and the Lian Li V1000 plus case

do I have to remove any backing plate from the motherboard or from the case to allow the mbrd to fit...this is my first build and I don't want to mess up...but certain guides/advice on websites magazine suggest that a bit of bashing is need to remove a plate to allow mbtrd to fit

your on about the backing plate that comes with the lian case? remove that backing plate and use the one that comes with the board, it just pops out, i have the same case too...very good choice by the way
