Got one a couple of weeks back and it's my first AMD setup since my T'bird 1300 - had a couple of P4 rigs that served me well.
There are only 3 things I have set in the Bios to o'clock my Opty to 2.8 (it's a 146).
In the Advanced tab, there is the Jumperfree Config setting
- changed AI overclocking from Auto to Manual. The fsb settign will appear
- changed the fsb to your chosen value (mine is 280)
-if you want to lower the multiplier and /ot change the cpu Voltage, change the FID/VID from Auto to manaul and then choose your multiplier and volts from the options that then appear.
-the final adjustment I made was to change the HT to 3x in the CHipset page.
To adjust the memory ratio, you need to go to the Cpu config page and the Memory setting option at the bottom. Change Memclock mode to Limit from Auto and then choose your ratio - it doesn't give it in an easy to comprehend way though. 200 is 1:1 , 166 is 6:5, 133 is 3:2 etc You can leave this on Auto and it should choose a working value from your memory's SPD. If you know your mem will go higher you can choose a better ratio. Mine is at auto and it chose 133 - my memory is therefore running at 280*3/2 = 187mhz. My memory is Crucial pc3200 and over 200 is a no go so that works fine.
There are a multitude of other options that I have no clue about - especially memory ones. But as my rig is working fine I think I'll leave it well alone until I get better memory.
