Just got me one of these to whip all my spare bits in and play around with CrossFire.
Initially I shall be putting the following in..
AMD Athlon64 3000+ (clocks to 2.7ghz and beond)
4x512mb Crucial Ballistix pc3200 2-2-2-6
x800xt
What's the opteron support like? As I'll give her a go with my 180 at some point.
I know using all 4 ram slots will probably hinder overclocking but what kind of impact are we talking with this mobo? Also will ram timings default to a T2 command rate or 333? The Crucial Ballistix are single sided, I know this makes a difference with some chipsets. Like some VIAs will run T1/400 with single sided sticks. I have no idea about the rd580 though.
I'll also be using 2 Powercolor 3870 Extremes when playing with CrossFire btw.
