Has anyone had any problems getting the BIOS updated on this board. I tried using the Auto Update program supplied on the CD I got with the board, but everytime I run it, it says that it's not an ASUS recognised board.
I even tried using the ASUS update download from their site and I still get the same message. The reason I'm trying to do get the update is that the computer takes roughly 30 secs to run the POST. I tried getting help from ASUS and they said that it could be the CD ROM drives and to put them into Test mode.
This seems strange to me because the drives do detect eventually which is where most of the time is taken up. I have checked the cables and they are all secured, the only thing that the manual doesn't say is the second start up option I get at the post screen. I don't know how to disable it, incase that is the problem.
