ASUS AN32 Premium - upside down?

It will work but your chipset temps will rocket, this put me off getting a Lian Li V1000 case :(
Posted this on this the Asus forums and most people advised not to do this.

I agree with Amidar, I using this MBoard and have read a number of replies that people had problems in Lian Li V1000 type cases.

If you do put it in this type of case you will need extra cooling.

When i use to have the premium i mounted a zalman on top of the heatpipe and it lowered my temps massively (10 degrees on load). You could always do that inside a lianli case

Thanks for that Ted34 - looking at the position I might even get a bigger sink on there. This would mean I could get away without the mosfet water block which would be a terrible drain on the system.

Might look at a chipset block for this.

Thanks again - hope restored LOL

Can you see my other post? it has me baffled
