Asus Blitz?

I had one, loved it for an hour, updated BIOS through Windows (), killed it and had to RMA......only waiting now to see what Maximus (or DFI X38-T2 ?) etc. offers, else will be getting one again !

Stickroad's right IMO....that a huge amount to pay for a motherboard esp as it was in the mid £160s a few weeks back.

I expect the sound may be a tad better on the ASUS, but that's not worth much.
So your paying a huge amount for the LCD screen and the crosslinx and the watercooled bit.
A snip from that review..

ASUS Update is a basic utility and offers several methods of performing a BIOS update. You can browse to the BIOS update manually on your hard drive or you can connect to ASUS’ FTP site and download it. One thing that really bothers me is that every time I have actually tried to use this tool to perform a BIOS update, it always gives me an error message saying that the FTP server is busy, or unavailable. This has been the case with nearly every ASUS review I’ve ever done for the [H].

ASUS online BIOS support inside of Windows is hideous at best. Our thoughts are they should not even offer this software feature on their motherboards till they fix their broken web infrastructure. We could not even access their website when editing this article to configure proper links to the product discussed.

From what we've seen on this forum hes lucky it didn't work as it killed so many motherboards on here.

O'h and the ABIT has eSATA 3G ;)
That's my "dig at ASUS" post for soldering the BIOS chip on :p
