I have have noticed an increasing problem with my system where by on cold boot my CH7 can give F9 and 22 errors from cold boot.

Memtest86 doesn't seem to show any issues until i power off and try power back on again.

I first noticed this when I was running on Team Group 3600 (TDPGD416G3600HC16ADC01) but have tried other GSkill 3600 and the same issue using XMP. Even with Gear down on and buming voltage up to 1.45V and SOC at 1.1V does not help.

Am running the latest bios (3004) and tried rolling back to 2901. The problem seems to follow slots A2/B2.

I have today purchased some G.Skill 3200 Ripjaws that is on the QVL list for this motherboard that I will be trying tonight.

Anyone else seen these issues / have any insight???

Hi Wesley,

Did you manage to solve this or did you just go with the Gigabyte board?

I've noticed a couple of times recently my PC will not POST (like it will repeatedly power on and off 3 times before it boots into the BIOS in safe mode).

Running a 2700X and 16GB G.SKILL TridentZ PC3200 (C14), but a much older BIOS (1201). Memtested extensively when I built the machine (June 2018), so assume something is starting to fail...?

Going to try and update the BIOS this weekend and see if that changes anything...

Cheers,

Su
