I have seen reports around that the Asus AMD Radeon HD7950 DirectCU II (3 slot monster) has some faults .

Its to do with overheating, dont know if its a design fault or batch fault or what.

Just wondering if anybody on here has the card and has had any problem with it ? i was interested in getting one , and i see there going for very cheap right now, in fact maybe too cheap so not sure if thats a good thing or what.

Hi, i would have one of these in a heartbeat. I think one review site had a dody one where the heatsink wasnt making enough pressure on the gpu, but that would be easily checked and fixed for me. Ive seen them for £313, have you seen cheaper? I am seriously tempted.

no thats the lowest i have seen , but its crazy low, which was one of the reason i though i asked , as maybe it was because of planned recall or something , but spoken to one other person with the card and no problem so far.

so i think i might risk it

Great choice. I have a directcu 570, only spins to 30% even overvolted and heavily overclocked. Excellent coolers, let me know how you get on with the card if you get one :-)

I received one today for a build and it is fine no movement of the heatsink it's nice and tight. Only running the card stock for this system but it's nice and quite and the temperatures are very good and on par with the sapphire OC I have used before.
