Hi all

Set ram to xmp and the computer keeps cycling to mem test 3 - 4 times before it boots up.

If I set it to Auto ram runs at a lower speed but doesn't keep cycling mem test.

I'm using g skill trident z 4133 mhz ram

Anyone shed any light on what it may be or if I may need to change anything in the bios?

4133mhz on a four dimm board is the problem. Unless you have a very good imc on your cpu it's not running qvl or not....

Try 3866mhz first with xmp timings, then 4k and keep a serious eye on io, sa and cpu standby voltages set at auto for these speeds so as to keep heat and possible cpu damage in check.

Run around 1.15-1.25 tops with io=standby.
