Hi,
I have just built my new gaming PC. The motherboard i ordered first, was the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme P67.
From the start, i had nothing but problems with it. Did not want to power up, and when it did, i had all sort of problems when i installed Win 7 64bit. Also i was getting blue screens when i tried to install the latest Nvidia Drivers.
I spent many many hours trying to solve the above problems but not any luck.
I then gave up and ordered the ASrock P67 Extreme6 (half the price).
I just want to say that after i connected everything, all was fine. Not a single issue. Installed Win7 64bit, no blue screens, installed latest Nvidia drivers and even overclocked it with just one click to 4Ghz.
I have nothing against ASUS. But sometimes if something is the most expensive, it does not mean that its also the best.
