Just overclocked a 2700k on one of these boards 8 Pack - 5.2Ghz on air easy @ 1.45v. Probably a pretty decent chip, but belter nonetheless. Thanks for your email mate - will get back to you later this afternoon. Phase change still hasn't arrived from LD though! :(

Bring your kit to me then I have several units. SR2 on dual cascade please.

Here's a weird one 8 Pack - so I've got the 3 x PCIE slots on the board -

#1 I have populated with a proprietary card that I want to run at x8

#2 I have populated with another proprietary card that I want to run at x8

#3 I have a standard PCIE video card that I want to use as the default video out on the mobo.

Unfortunately it appears that unless the mobo recognises an Nvidia or AMD chip in the x16 slot (#1) I can't get any video from the box at POST. What gives?

Cheers in advance as per usual :)

Responded your e-mail mate.

You can only get 8x 4x 4x from that board all lanes are CPU and no added Chip. The MVE can give you numerous scenarios as it employs a PLX chip to give you far more GPU PCI EX lanes. Similar to the MIVE I believe your benching against but PLX is much better than the old NF200 controller.

Sorry to hijack this thread a little bit but wondered if any of you were having voltage reading issues with the maximus v formula? My board reads the DRAM, PCH, PLL, VCCIO and VCCSA voltages as 3.196v which would easily breakl my components. I did check these voltages with a multimeter with the read points on the MB and the actual voltage is what I set it at.
Just wondered if you could take a look at my thread:

Thanks in advance,

8 Pack -

Thanks for the response and yea I agree that AISuite is a pile of crap.

I use HW monitor myself however it doesnt read those voltages. And im pretty sure its not a software issue as the BIOS itself is reading the same voltages.
