Asus Maximus X and more than 64GB RAM?

Manual claims it does not.
In theory this should have confirmation in practice, but practice not always confirms theory - hence question :)
As long as the windows version also support more memory you should be fine and if you hit any problems you can always return the ram within 14 days. Getting the same memory as you have would be beneficial.

Hi,
This is valid point about return but I would prefer to avoid unboxing new item just to test it.
I was hoping someone may have already gone that route and have experience..
I'm sure someone out there already was trying this and can share some feedback.. maybe not exactly on Maximus X but this is fairly good MB so if it'd worked on different Asus board, it will be more of incentive to make a purchase.
Have already 4x 16GB of Corsair Vengeance, i'f I'd swap two modules for 32GB versions it'd give me 96GB, good enough for a start..

My HP MicroServers have gladly accepted double memory size that was said as 'max supported' so was hoping this will be the case here as well..
