This is some of the lowest price out there on these GPU classes, made even more attractive considering its Asus backed up by their fantastic 48hr swap out warranty service when purchased via Overclockers UK.

Remember be quick, the deals won't last long as VGA pricing is now in continual rise, after chatting with Samsung they have unfortunately given us the bad news that RAM pricing which effects VGA, RAM and SSD will now continue to rise until early 2018, so the news is not good at all, fortunately the small strengthening in GBP has helped alleviate these increases in short term and Asus are supporting us to do this deal over the weekend, we did ask for the week but they said the weekend was the best they could give us, at least its on PAYDAY WEEKEND. :)

Wow, might be able to sell this 1080ti just before Volta without taking a bath on it at these prices

I had the 6gb Asus Dual 1060 until a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised by the build quality and how well the white Dual's cooler performed, I used it with an EVGA G2 650 watt PSU and there was no coil whine and minimal fan noise at load. It's a decent card and I'd be jumping on the 1070 Dual if I wanted a 1070. The only downside was the lack of a backplate on the 1060 dual. Apart from that it get's myvote, definitely a card worth considering.

780 quid for a 1080ti. World's gone mad. Seriously. Still it is what it is.
Yeah. Madness. This kind of thing will make people keep their cards for longer and skip a gen.

My position on these prices is, if I am going to pay silly moneys, I might as well wait and get brand new tech with Volta.

This makes me glad I have a five year warranty on my 980ti.

Yeah, I will be looking to get 4-5 years warranty when I pick up my Volta card, as that is likely how long I will keep it due to pricing and lack of advancement. Before we would get 50-100% increase from gen to gen making upgrading very tempting, now it seems like it will be 20-40% going forward :(

Nobody fools me. Gpu prices are insane from mid tier upwards.

Most I'll ever pay is £400 for a upto date new gpu and even then that's too much really.

Prices going up and the excuses and reasons why just do not wash with me.

I've not seen a deal here this decade. Shame. And no I didn't pay £780 for my 1080ti, it's a sample (on loan)

The country is meant to be in austerity. People don't have money and yet they keep jacking the GPU prices up.

But what market forces are keeping these prices elevated. Simply miners?

They obviously sell them otherwise prices would drop.

I remember the days when the 970/390 were £250 yet now we have the lower tier 1060/480 replacing that price segment. Absolutely ridiculous hence why I would go for a used higher tier card in most cases.
