Is this motherboard any good ASUS P5N-E SLI NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI i have heard some good reviews on it but has any one got one or maybe a frend has got one is i hvae seen them advertised for £ 68.27 inc VAT.

Are they even out yet? £68 doesn't sound right, surely a brand new sli board will be priced more highly than this. Have you got any links to reviews please.

A simple froogle search does reveal some low prices. But my guess would be that they are using it to attract people to look at their sites. Then again some reliable sources have listed them as well.

Im guessing the launch is very close.

i'm hoping to have hold of one of these by the end of next week myself :)

little more expensive than yours though :p

EDIT - decided to wait till its more widely available as the one i can currently get is the horrible mustard colour PCBs that are obviously cheaper to buy.

quite strange really.

Well took me about 30 minutes to find this available in the UK! whats going on OcUK? I thought you would have this mighty budget board in stock, I'm sure plenty of people would buy it.

I have now overclocked it to 405fsb around 2835mhz will still go a lot higher just bedding the silver compond so will wait a while before taking it higher.

Just ordered one of these boards along with a 6300, 8800gts and 2gb Geil Pc6400 and a scythe ninja (all bar the mb bought from OC), so I am interested in how far you have got in overclocking.

You need to update your sig then! :D

Why are these things so cheap??!!!

Because ASUS/NVidia has always had a budget SLi board with 2 8x PCIe slots. This is just the latest one. Previously they didn't clock well though but I suspect they have been looking at the success of the Crossfire/Gigabyte DS4 and decided to have some of that market.

OK - Mine has arrived. Booted fine at 300x9, booted fine at 350x9, booted fine at 400x9, boots fine at 453*9 but not beyond that.

I'm installing Windows now so I'm hoping for 3.6GHz stable. :D

Have one on order too :D
Will give it a ragging with 6300/6600 and the Crucial/GSkill when it arrives. Bargainous price for async memory clocking and SLI support!
Can anyone confirm what sort of memory clocks they've seen from the board thus far?
