mines at 1.45 as well I think - the NB on mine seems really unstable - if the NB heatsink is on too tight it will randomly lockup within 5 minutes of booting, if it gets too warm it will lockup within a couple of hours and if the voltage is much above 1.48 or so it will also lockup constantly :( hence why I swapped to a Gigaabyte P35 DS3R for my gaming PC...

Mine ran on 1.55v no active cooling with zero problems, but I've lowered it to 1.5v now as it performs the same. Very very hot though, those heatpipes make me wonder. If it's running 1.52v by auto then that's fine, mine was on 1.55v auto.

I rather suspect that the NB is the root of the prpblems I've been having for the last two months, but I've been unable to prove it. Currently I'm at 1.50V, but dropping as low as 1.35 doesn't stop the problem - random gfx lockups. It's not the gfx themselves (three different gfx cards do the same thing).

As for the temp, the heatsink seems to reach about 50oC, suggesting the NB itself is about 10-20oC warmer than that. Not nice, but probably not fatal.

Q: Wasn't this board supposed to have a clip-on fan cooler included? Because if I got one I can't find it, and I can't remember if I ever had one (bought the board in March).

No it doesn't come with a clip on fan, but there is one designed for the MOSFET by Asus (heatsinks near the CPU).

Edited: Further info 2 posts below.

Wait a minute, I was thinking of my P5W DH Deluxe (as it comes with one).

P5N32-E SLi = no fan
Striker Extreme = fan

Sorry. I'm in the middle of revision and my brain is frazzled.
