Asus P5NSLI nForce 570 - opinions?

Ahh, bummer :(

But would that be quicker than my current setup?

What about that asrock board which allows the use of hacked drivers for SLI, is that any good, overclocking wise?

EDIT : This one, Asrock ConroeXFire-eSATA2

Any Xfire mobo will allow SLI with hacked drivers.

I tried two 7900 GTX's on my ASUS P5W DH without issue.

The Asrock mobo you metion is a poor clocker too.

Whats your budget for a mobo and I will tell you which one to get. ;) :)

you have a gx2, two 7900gtx and a 7600gt?

or were you just saying that because you know that sli does work on non sli platforms with hacked drivers. :p

cheapo boards dont oc' very well, thats the problem.

Well ive got £300. Thats for mobo, cpu and RAM. Im going have to limit myself to a gig of RAM for the time being :(

Would like the option of going SLI agai in the near future

I would wait and save for at least 2 GIG of ram and a nice SLI mobo.

The hacked drivers where fine but the drivers are getting on a bit now.

It seems you want SLI etc and just do not have the funds as 300 quid is pushing it for your needs.

Maybe just get the RAM and cpu for now then, and get a mobo when i sell the 939 stuff on?

Not sure why you want to do that.

Why get the ram and cpu now if you do not have a mobo to use them with?

Well id deffo get the RAM before the price goes up even more, and as im there i may as well get the CPU as well.

Then when i flog the other stuff ive got at least £200 for a decent mobo. Im quite liking the asus one youve got :)

Well if they couldn't get it over 300FSB, they either didn't have a good clocking chip or they didn't read the manual.

I had FSB of 360 with the E6300 I sold to Royality, and I never touched the voltage. This E6600 isn't a good clocker, but even I can get 3.0GHz out of it.

I like the board, personally, but the hacked drivers on the ASRock were a bit quicker.
