Asus P5QL-E P43 vs Asus 680i

Hows much better or worse than than my 680i board with the above P43 board be with clocking my Q6600.

The most i can get stable on the 680i is 3.06Ghz, 383FSB x 8 multi with 1.4v

Will the P43 be any better do you think?

It's hardly worth buying another board just for a slightly larger overclock, especially on a dead platform.

Well the P43 has coat me £25 second hand so its not as if its going to cost the earth to try it out

I've seen some posting qouting 4.0 on that board in benching section, could'nt find it now though. :rolleyes:

I bet, you could squeeze some more. 600 MHz more for £25 quid is one hell of a luck.
