First off I'll state that at the moment this is just a general query - i'm debating an upgrade but i'm not sure if I should wait 
Does anyone know how good the Raid 5 function of the P5W DH is?
If I do upgrade I may well end up wanting to use RAID 5 if it works ok, as it would hopefully give me a reasonable degree of protection if a drive fails (3x 320gb seagates in Raid 5...*).
Also what (cheapish) memory would be good for it?
I would be wanting to fit about 4gb as i'm doing quite a lot of scanning old photos in, and manipulating them (trying to clean them up/adjust the colours to deal with fading etc), and currently having some problems with Paintshop Pro etc, for some reason it seems to be problematic when dealing with 8x10" pics scanned in at 1200dpi
