Hello All,
Ok so I installed Xp onto a raid 0 array using the easy raid, I didn't look
at the Intel Raid controller
I've since built another raid 0 array (Intel) onto which I've installed Vista.
I was hoping for a smooth dual boot between the 2 arrays and under Vista
everything is fine and I can see both arrays.
Under Xp I can't enable the Intel raid option in the bios as it reboots during
the initial stages of loading.
I've installed the latest Ez Backup Manager which Asus say solves the problem (its in the release notes) but it doesn't.
So can I install the Intel drivers without having to re install Xp, I don't want Xp to boot off the Intel array just want it to be able to boot up without
having to turn the Intel array off in the bios (And be able to see both arrays)
The Intel build a floppy with drivers on util has some drivers on it, can I just right click on the .inf and install ? seeing as nothing is using the Intel array while in XP ?
Sounds like it would be dodgy
Any help appreciated
Cheers
