How high will this board oc an e6420?
Whats the fsb limit?
Also how do quads oc on this board?

Getting this board soon but duno if in the last min to switch to a p5b deluxe, problem with that is it has only 1x ide...
Also i'd like to keep 4 gb ram and one of my sticks happens to be a pc 3200, it oc's to pc 4300 speeds but not much higher, hence a board with a nice lower ram divider is a must...

You could expect on average, around 400FSB, which would take your E6420 to 3.2GHz. With some messing about you could manage around 450FSB but any higher is quite rare. To be frank, for the amount that the P5W DH costs, it really isn't a great competitor now. All other platforms, P965, nForce 6xx's and particularly the new P35 trash the 975X in terms of FSB overclocking and they all sport almost everything that the Intel 975X does.

You'll also find that you may need to replace that ram. DDR2-400 isn't even supported on the Core 2 Boards as the Minimum Memory Divider is 1:1, (266FSB: 266mhz Dram - 533 effective). Even if it could do PC2-4200 speeds, you're out of luck for overclocking any further.

DDR2 is cheap nowadays with 1GB of DDR2-800 setting you back around £25-40 and 2GB around £60 to £95. May as well get it replaced.

As it stands, if you want SLI support, the nForce 680i is your best option. The eVGA 680i SLI A1 Board is very good.
For ATi Crossfire support, most of the P35 boards would be a good option, despite the awquard 16x - 4x slot configuration. Particularly the Gigabyte P35 DS3P/DS4 and the Asus P5K/P5K Deluxe.

I just reckon it'd be a bad idea to drop that kind of money on an Intel 975X based board.

Swap it fo a P5B deluxe if you want a better clocking mobo and higher FSB.

Price isnt important I can get it for around 50 € for either ( p5b delx or wdh deluxe that is)

Easy, as much as i want a high oc, I prefer to keep 4gb ram without buying something... And I prefer ram above cpu power. 3.2 ghz is really all the power I'd need. My 6800gs wouldn't be bottlenecked by it or whatever.

Aside that, both my windows vista x64 and xp 32 drives, happen to be 2 ide drives...
Add the 1 dvd rw and 1 ide drive to it and I have 4 drives, more as the p5b will support...

Theres also another reason, the WDH has ich7r, same as my p5ld2, wich means I can move my raid 0 to the WDH, while the p5b has ich8r, wich will make it unlikeley I can move my raid 0 to it...

Rubbish, the p5wdh supports the 5:4 fsb:ram divider, wich means i can run ,my cpu @ 1066 mhz while keep ram at ddr 424 speeds, wich the sammy pc3200 stick can easely manage, infact it can do 533 speeds..., also I didn't mention I'm goign to get core 2 duo immediatly, I'm waiting for price drops, till then I'm still using my pD @ 3.9 ghz, this is basicly a mobo only upgrade, for future proofing cpu support ( ie. so I can get a c2d or c2q next time without doing anything but replacing cpu)

Very well, I stand corrected. The majority of boards, (granted, were mainly P965) that I have seen had a minimum divider of 1:1.
