Asus P8P67-M Bios to support overclocking

I didn't do my homework and bought the Asus P8P67-M thinking that all P67 chipset boards would support overclocking. Well apparently this board doesn't. Just wondering if anyone knows why it won't let you set the multiplier any higher than 33? Or is this an oversight and will be remedied in the next bios update?

I got the i5 2500k. I read a thread on a different forum with people complaining about it but no news on whether overclocking will be supported...

Is there no option you have to change to enable OC'ing?

Yes it has all the overclocking sections but the multiplier is locked to 33. If I put in anything higher than that it will default down to 33. Any ideas?

have you disabled turbo? I think ASUS boards use turbo to overclock, could be wrong tho!

Mmmm, I've just noticed this on my P8P67-M. This must be some sort of **** up surely. I've only just completed my build so I've not messed with the overclocking options yet. Have you tried the latest BIOS as I see ASUS have posted a new one in the last day or so.
