Asus P8Z68-V :: Dual screen (HDMI & DVI)

I have P8Z68-V / i7-2600k - I just bought a second monitor & was hoping to use the HDMI & DVI ports (onboard)

I can get both screens to work when using the DVI & VGA but when I connect DVI / HDMI it doesn't work - does someone know if this is possible with the setup I have?

Hi there,

Initially, I though this would be another case when the onboard only works with one digital and one anaogue output, however the manual does say:

This motherboard comes with multiple VGA output that features desktop extension on two monitors. You can connect two monitors to any two of the onboard VGA, DVI-D, and HDMI ports. Note that DVI-D/HDMI dual output works in OS environment only and that during POST or BIOS setup, only DVI-D output is valid.

Perhaps try updating the Intel HD graphics driver.

I am using the same mobo and IIRC I tried that setup before and both DVI and HDMI worked. Either extended monitor or duplicate.
