After only 10 years of trouble free running, my PC has started to give a fatal chassis intrusion error. It is no longer under warranty from Overclockers I suspect ;o) so I am investigating.
I searched the internet as I could not see anything in the bios to help, or links on the motherboard. As it only happens on power up after being fully powered off, (a reset and it is fine), I suspect after so many years the battery is getting low.
Does anybody know the cmos battery type so I can get one before I take the Graphics card out to change it?
I have looked on Assus web site and searched, but no results.
If anybody can confirm my diagnosos or not, I would appreciate any comments.
Thanks in advance.

Thank you ;-)

Edit for the benifit of anybody else with the same or similair problem, this did fix it. The original battery, which had been in for a decade, still read 2.7 volts off load, which is pretty amazing. The new one reads 3.3 volts.
