Asus P8Z77-V PRO storage driver question.

Are these drivers the same?

1. Asmedia AHCI Driver V1.3.4.0 for Windows 8 32bit & 64bit.(WHQL)

2. Asmedia SATA Controller Driver V1.3.4.0 for Windows Win8 32bit & Win8 64bit.(WHQL)

My boot drive is a SSD and that is connected to the INTEL SATA port. So maybe I don't need to install them anyway?

UPDATE: I just called up the read me files for these two packages and they are both headed 'Installation Readme for Asmedia 106x SATA Host Controller Drive.' so I guess they are the same after all.

These drivers crashed my system with windows 8. Stick with the intel ports.
