Got my new system bits today and I think my Motherboard is DOA its a Asus P5W64-WS Pro Intel 975X (Socket LGA775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-180-AS) from OCUK,

Its all connected up to my new seasonic silent 500w PSU, and yes I have both mainboard power connectors, the green LED lights up but when you press the power switch the fans twitch but nothing happens, I have tried it without ram, gfx, cpu and still nothing anyone agree with its DOA, I really wanted this system working by the weekend Damn it

Its possible that the motherboards is DOA however you may want to try another power supply before you send the board back.. I had a similar problem and i sent mine back and after waiting a whole week for my mobo i plugged it in and it did exaclty the same thing!!

Check CPU fan is plugged in, had an ASUS board do the same thing. Try without CPU fan plugged in, different header, different CPU fan entirely if u have one.

RMA`d it today guy at ocuk seemed to think board was borked, dont have another PSU to try it as my old one doesnt evern have the right connector old ATX one, so we will see should have other one tomorrow as ordered another one to get it quickly so i can sell off the replacement fully boxed
