just checked the dimentsions to my antec 1200 case, and it will fit but there are no extra screws for it, it would be a little cramped and also it covers 2 of the holes for cable managment. May unfortunatly have to sell the case and buy another :< shame..

whats the best way to sell PC components second hand? Ebay?

I only have a minor issue in that a Prolimatech Megahalems (with two fans) CPU cooler will cover the first DIMM slot and the fan clip will probably interfere with Corsair Dominator GT memory cooling fins in the second DIMM slot.

My hand has been hovering over the buy button for two days.

i would be a little bit concerned with removing the heat spreadder's fins? is that the only option?
cant you mount the h/s horizontally?

Aslong as ur staticless, then there is no problem Ram realy doesnt need cooling at all (Ram cooling fans are a total marketing gimic)

Aslong as you have a reletivly cool case, which i am sure all overclockers do then you wont have any problems with ram temps.

yea cheers, i know that ram doesnt really need the cooling that sometimes it is given but id still be a little concerned by removing the fins. they have certainly shifted the cpu >> more on this board than others...

2 Ports,= 1 headder, most cases have 4 ports on the io pannel needing 2 headders



I mean the socket seems to be more to the right hand side compared to the classified.

meh i suppose its as close to perfect as you can get, i still think the bluetooth rog connect feature is a gimmick. unless you wanna turn ur pc on when you are in the bath

Could some one tell me the distance between the PCIE slots? i have 2 5870's and m looking for a soundcard so i need to know!

1 card in the top 16x slot, another int the 3rd slot down, the soundcard in the pcixslot in the middle and the other in the spare at the bottom, you may not have room far all but im not sure. depends on the sze of ur cards.

First and third PCI slots willa llways run at 16x unless u go trifire.

middle slot is for soundcard (u get the hint from the size of it)

And last 2 slots preferable the PCIE slot (the black one) is for any other cards you might want to use.

I googled a 4 pin to 8 pin cpu power adaptor from 4 pin female to 8 pin male which would be right for my psu, i take it that the 8 pin is just 4 pairs of 12 volts is that correct ?

as far as i know thats correct, but im not that sure.
