ASUS - Replacement Chipset fan?

Hi all,

I have an ASUS A8N-SLI in a system but the little chipset HSF has stopped working. I was wondering how you go about getting a replacement HSF from ASUS? and if anyone has already done this?

I think it was a known fault with that board.

If you contact them they should send you one for free!

Alternatively, evercool do decent low profile coolers. Think it's called a VC-RE and is very quiet. I used one on my DFI SLi-DR when its fan packed up!

Iam having the same trouble with my a8e, sometimes after a cold boot, the fan just wont start up. so I have to push it abit to get it going
