ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING - Really Hot | No Post | No Debug

Hi,

First post here!

I have a ASUS ROG STRIX X570-F GAMING Motherboard and when I try to power it on nothing happens.
No LEDs in the logo / Debug panel, No fans spinning etc.

What I did notice is that one of the chips is burning hot - Outlined in the image below.
What does that mean?

Welcome to the forums. If that's burning hot, something is wrong. I'm thinking there's a fault with the board/something has shorted.

Do you think it’s fixable at all?
Would a repair shop know how to replace the chip?

Is this brand new? That chip won't be replaceable, except possibly by the manufacturer. If it's brand new or still under the manufacturer's warranty, return it to whoever you got it from for a replacement/refund.

Hopefully within 14/30 day returns . Def 14 days a new board should be sent, after 30 days will be RMA . Hopefully reseller is good and take one for stock and replace and Asus will replace stock as RMA is EU based
