Hi, I've been using this monitor for the past few weeks, but I'm wondering if anyone has any good settings for the best PQ?

At the moment, I've just left it with the brightness to 0 with it on "Theater Mode", and that's all I've done, as I don't want it too bright.

Also, does anyone have any tips and tricks for lowering response times etc as well?

Cheers.

Go into standard mode so you can control things. Brightness up a bit to around 35-40 ish seems to be around 150-200cmd2 that will help you get a base and sort out the RGB sliders to custom 100,100,100. Im not sure on the contrast but i think it should be around 50 or 75 you will know by default preset because they differ 50 on some 75 on Dell. I would stick to whatever contrast they provide and move to the next step.

I gathered the main problem with this one was there is only two gamma settings 2.2 and 1.8 and they can be off a little on the 2.2 curve unless you get the monitor to exactly 200cmd2 brightness. Use the below link as a rough guide and look at thier info on how they had to use brightness to control gamma curve it seems it only would fall in at 200. But that also seemed to hurt blacks by making them up the brightness so you will get whiter whites but poorer blacks on the Asus. I cant think of another way to get around the too few gamma options on the Asus sadly. And to master the RGB settings you might need to borrow an X-rite?
