hey folks if any of you have the above board have a look at the new bios that is available 5809 it adds ryzen 5000 support (read the notes on the page it does remove support for athlon cpu's) seems to have increased the performance of my 3700X I can now reliably hit my turbo of 4.4ghz consistently. a cinebench R23 score of 12900 roughly compared to the expect 11900. just to add its not very accurate I know but in cpuz bench on the old bios compared to new bios also has improved from 5400 to roughly 5650.

I'm interested in this. But I'd like to.know if the new bios will allow the new Apu like the 4750g to work in it.

Just checked theve not updated the cpu support list yet , looking at Asrock they have 5000 cpu listed but no 4750g on there b450 motherboards.

Just a follow up - been looking at the Asus site, and it now lists the 5809 bios as available, listing some of the newer 5000 series CPU's.
It also lists the 4750GE CPU as compatible. Does anyone know if that would also mean the 4750G would work as well ? ( basically the same CPU with slightly different clock speeds )
